Established in the 1950s, the Yeiser Art Center has a rich tradition of enriching the community's visual art scene with permanent and temporary exhibitions. Past shows there have included works by printmaker Derrick Riley, painter Jerry Watson, and various photographers from National Geographic. The Center lies in the heart of downtown, along the waterfront near the northern tip of Owens Island.
